REMARK

Today is my happy day! The creator thought of me many years ago and placed me in my mothers' womb. On a certain day as this, He caused me to be brought forth against all odds and have kept me alive through the years: overcoming obstacles, hindrances, temptations and the turbulent situations of life.
I am grateful to the Almighty God for preserving my life. I appreciate all my good friends and family who have remembered me today: the beginning of another new year in my life. The Lord shall raise people of good will to surround you and cheer you up in the remaining days of your life. Amen.

TIMES AND SEASONS

There may be different seasons in a man's life. There can be seasons of pain, afflictions, trials, temptations, fruitfulness, joy, blessings, breakthroughs, satisfaction and contentment. But none of these is a standard of measuring an individual's relationship with his Maker.

The experiences of life can sometimes be uncertain however there is a possibility of change as we journey in life. Do not conclude on an individual because of his present state: health, finance, relationship, e.t.c.

Because this too shall pass away and IT SHALL COME TO PASS AFTERWARD THAT ...and the desired change will be manifest.

...They that wait upon the lord shall renew their strength. Isaiah 40:31

LIFE EXPERIENCES

For a believer, life experiences can sometimes be tough and uncertain. So one may suffer affliction but the scriptures declares, 'affliction will not rise the second time'. One may also be tried but God's word is emphatic, 'the trial of your faith works patience'. I am bold to declare, 'you have a hope and a future in Christ Jesus'. Do not give up!

Signs Of The Time!

Dear friends,

My dear friends, please read, it is very important and urgent that we the children of GOD need to prayer for GOD’s intervention.

Abraham asked the Lord to spare 50 righteous people. God responded to Abraham's plea "If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all …” Genesis 18:16-33

The movie " Corpus Christi " is due to be released this June to August. A disgusting film set to appear in America later this year depicts Jesus and his disciples as homosexuals! As a play, this has already been in theatres for a while. It's called "Corpus Christi" which means "The Body of Christ". It's revolting mockery of our Lord. But we can make a difference.

That's why I am sending this e-mail to you. If you do send this around, we just might be able to prevent this film from showing in America. Let's stand for what we believe in and stop the mockery of Jesus Christ our Savior. Where do we stand as Christians? At the risk of a bit of inconvenience, I'm forwarding this to all I think would appreciate it, too. Please help us prevent such offenses against our Lord. There is no petition to sign, no time limit, or minimum number of people to send this to. It will take you less than 2 minutes!

If you are not interested and do not have the 2 minutes it will take to do this, please don't complain when God does not have time for you because He is far busier than we are. Hey it's worth a shot! Apparently, some regions in Europe have already banned the film. All we need is a lot of prayer and a lot of e-mails.

JUST GET THE WORD OUT
will God be able to find at least 50 righteous people who are willing to express their concern and voice their opinion against this act of blasphemy?

Quote of the Day!

  • A friend is a hand you hold when the road becomes too long and lonely.
  • There is nothing more fulfilling than knowing Christ and being assured of his love.

People God Uses

Judges 7:12-15
1. Courageous people
Bold and daring. Fearless: not been defensive but on the offensive. And from the day of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven suffers violence and the violent take it by force. Matthew 11:12
2. Courteous people
Careful, Observant, not given to anxiety, calculative, obedient to God's instruction, not carried away by activities and the glamour of things.
3. Confident people
Full of faith. Not doubtful. Trustworthy. Reliance on the ability of God.

Life Experiences

1. It is possible to live WITH the devil and not live FOR him.
2. It is not out of place to say, I have lived WITH the devil but not IN him nor THROUGH him neither LIKE him nor have I allowed him to live in or through me.
3. Jesus LIVES WITH, IN, and THROUGH me.
4. I live WITH, IN, FOR, LIKE, and THROUGH Jesus.
5. Jesus is my light and my salvation.
For in Him (Jesus) we LIVE, in Him we MOVE and in Him we HAVE our BEING. Acts 17:28

Many years ago I had a vision: a man had a very large farm and had boundaries with other farmers. Their crops were doing well but his own were struggling to survive: they were tiny and scattered here and there and almost overgrown with weeds. He became concerned about the condition of the crops and was worried over the disparity between others and his. As he looked around the farm he saw the trunk of a tree in the midst of his farm and as he looked up he saw that the tree was heavy with so many branches that spread over his farmland as a result the crops were not having adequate nutrient and sunlight. So the shade and droplets of water from the branches had been the reason for the stunted growth. And a voice said, "cut down the tree so the crop can do well".
*so pray: every evil tree covering my destiny be uprooted, in the name of Jesus Christ.
*every evil tree veiling my life from the sunlight of heaven be uprooted.
*every evil tree planted in the midst of the garden of my life be uprooted.
*every satanic tree covering my life and bringing satanic droplets of evil dew on my life be uprooted.

Discerning A Man With A Future

HOW TO DISCERN A MAN WITH A FUTURE.
Facial expression can be deceptive. The present status maybe misleading! Life is more than now; the future is way beyond the immediate & present condition of an individual. Look before you leap.
1. What is his vision: His dream, his pursuit?
2. What is his passion? Drive, motivation, enthusiasm. What is his conviction?
3. What is his association? The friends he keeps: evil communication corrupts good manners.
4. What is the environment he creates? The atmosphere he creates around him.
5. What sacrifice is he willing to pay? His commitment, dedication, endeavours. (The price for his dream). Paying the price of greatness!
6. What is his level of investment? What forms the bulk of his investment? The things he spends on.
7. What are his priorities? Things he puts interest in. The things that give him concern. His flair...
8. What is his integrity: His level of morality, sincerity, transparency, reliability, dependability?
9. What is his focus? Is he capricious? He who is unstable as the waters cannot excel. Gen. 49:3
A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. He must be resolute.
10. What is his conscience? Does he have a conscience? Does he have human feelings?
11. What is his resolve? Is he teachable, repentant? Does he takes correction- is he corrigible: can he be corrected?
12. What is his resilience? Is he capacious? The righteous falls seven times and rises again.
13. What is his determination: Is he negligent? Is he forceful or lukewarm? Res ipsa loquitur: the principle that the mere occurrence of some type of accident is sufficient to imply negligence i.e. the matter speaks for itself.
14. What is his capacity? How competent is he in what he is doing?

God's Tabernacle 3

When you get to God’s presence, wretchedness, failure, disappointment, setback, barrenness and frustration wither off its leaves but when you enter in the taproot dies and God’s blessedness sprouts in its place.

Joy – Those with sorrowful heart can spark off with the fire of enviable joy when they enter into God’s presence because in His presence, there is fullness of joy.

“Blessed are those who dwell in your house;
They are ever praising you.
As they pass through the Valley of Baca,
They make it a place of springs;
The autumn rains also cover it with pools”. Ps 84: 4, 6

“You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill
me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures
at your right hand”. Ps 16:11

Strength – The weak that comes to God’s presence goes from strength to strength- increasing in victorious power.

“Blessed are those, whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts on pilgrimage. They go from strength to strength, till each appears before

God in Zion”. Ps 84:5, 7

Divine Aura – The Lord bestows grace, favour, glory, honour, splendour and heavenly bliss. He grants divine protection and shield to those who dwell in His presence.

“For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor
and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose
walk is blameless”. Ps 84:11

Fruitfulness – In Ezekiel 47: 1-12, we are told of a river in the midst of the sanctuary. A thousand-cubit measurement being an ankle deep with others being: knees deep, loins deep and overflowing river respectively.

Before Ezekiel left the sanctuary, he saw no trees but when he returned the scene changed.

“Then he led me back to the bank of the river. When I arrived there, I saw a great number of trees on each side of the river… Swarms of living creatures will live wherever the river flows. There will be large numbers of fish, because this water flows there and makes the salt water fresh; so where the river flows everything will live… Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river. Their leaves will not wither, nor will their fruit fail. Every month they will bear, because the water from the sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing”. Ezek 47:6-12

You cannot get deep into a close fellowship with God and return the same. The unusual can happen to a man who gets into a deeper communion with God in His “sanctuary”! The mystery river is the Holy Spirit. Jesus said,

“But whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life”. John 4:14

“On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him." By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified”. John 7:37-39

W
hen your obedience is thus fulfilled, the rivers of pleasure: not the cup or bowl of pleasure but the fountain of life and even the ever flowing streams that never dries becomes your portion and habitation. Remember, pleasure is something that gives satisfaction, enjoyment, comfort, joy and peace in life. It is all yours in Christ Jesus.

THE POSSIBILITIES (VARIABLES)

This mystery is available to the righteous keen observer who loves to continue in the presence of God Almighty and commune with Him in fellowship.

You may not have discovered this amiable experience in God’s presence if you have not embraced the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus no matter the curiosity in your mind.

You may be righteous but if not curious you might not discover this loveliness in God’s presence.

You may fellowship and commune with God only to your increasing disappointment if your curiosity is the progeny of His righteousness.

To enjoy this blessedness that is Christ Jesus, which is only found in His sanctuary, you must embrace the following:

Worship - it is the act of making God know how worthy He is to receive you praise, the honour and glory.

Adoration – it is a deep love and respect for God.

Devotion – it is the act of committing yourself for some purpose towards God.

Fellowship – it is the friendly relationship with God through sharing or doing something together.

     It means companionship with God.
It implies, by inference, making God your fellow.
It is a divine privilege extended to humanity in Christ Jesus.

God's Tabernacle 2

There in the house of God (His presence), are all that you are running about to accomplish and obtain- the river, the stream (comfort and fulfillment). Staying in God’s presence is a life changing experience and testimony. You can discover this mystery for yourself.

“How lovely is your dwelling place, O LORD Almighty! My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young--a place near your altar O LORD Almighty, my King and my God. Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you. Blessed are those whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools.   They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion… Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked. For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless. O LORD Almighty, blessed is the man who trusts in you”.   Ps 84:1-12

The word “mystery” means secret. In the Old Testament, it occurred only in the book of Daniel, where it means that which is hidden and needs to be made known.

"As you were lying there, O king, your mind turned to things to come, and the revealer of mysteries showed you what is going to happen. As for me, this mystery has been revealed to me, not because I have greater wisdom than other living men, but so that you, O king, may know the interpretation and that you may understand what went through your mind”. Dan 2:29-30

“Daniel replied, "No wise man, enchanter, magician or diviner can explain to the king the mystery he has asked about, but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries”. Dan 2:27-28

“The king said to Daniel, "Surely your God is the God of gods and the Lord of kings and a revealer of mysteries, for you were able to reveal this mystery” Dan 2:47

“I said, "Belteshazzar, chief of the magicians, I know that the spirit of the holy gods is in you, and no mystery is too difficult for you”. Dan 4:9

I
n the New Testament, it means a divine truth that needs to be made known to the people by God through His Spirit. The apostle Paul wrote in his letters to the churches of Rome, Corinth, Ephesus and Colosse thus:

“I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be conceited” Rom 11:25

“Now to him who is able to establish you by my gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past, but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all nations might believe and obey him…” Rom 16:25-27

“Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed”1 Cor 15:51

“And he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment”. Eph 1:9-10

“That is, the mystery made known to me by revelation, as I have already written briefly. In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, which was not made known to men in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God's holy apostles and prophets”. Eph 3:3-5

“Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel”. Eph 6:19

“…the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the saints”. Col 1:25-26
The tabernacle is the dwelling place of God here on earth. It is the presence of God. Because of the secret in God’s tabernacle, the Psalmist yearns and pines for the courts of the Lord. He became jealous of the small birds that have such unhindered access to the temple and the altar. They are even able to build their nest there for their young. It was the place where Israel was to have communion with God. In God’s presence are great, awesome and valuable treasures.

q       Blessedness – Blessed- happy, fortunate to be envied is the man whose strength is in the Lord.

“Blessed are those, whose strength is in you,

Who have set their hearts on pilgrimage”. Ps 84:5

THE MYSTERY IN GOD’S TABERNACLE

“How lovely is your tabernacle, O LORD of hosts!” Ps 84:1

The temple of the Lord is “amiable”- lovely and there are deep mysteries behind it, which are only visible and evident to the righteous curious mind that wishes to fellowship and commune with his maker i.e. the one who longs to be in his presence. In Psalm 27:4, the Psalmist expressed his singular desire that he would like to seek after: dwelling in God’s house. Not some days but all the days of his life.

“One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple. For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock”. Ps 27:4-5

The reasons behind this desperate search are two-fold.

TO BEHOLD GOD’S BEAUTY:
This is a selfless service before the Lord: the act of worship, fellowship, devotion and adoration. This is the service that gives, offers and responds to God in sacrificial love and not for the purpose of receiving from God.

TO INQUIRE IN HIS TEMPLE:
This is the act of meditation on the conflicting ideas about God, His word and works. It can also be a way of seeking solace when troubles assail.

These were his utmost desire because of his love for God’s house as he expressed also in another place:

“LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth”. Psalm 26: 8

Dwelling in God’s house is seen as blessedness and a great privilege. It is God that chose us. It is not any man’s making: not by might nor by power but by the spirit of the Lord. When God draws a man into his presence, he satisfies him with the goodness, which alone is found in God’s house.

“Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple”. Ps 65:4

One of the secrets in the house of God that is alone known to those who are of a pure heart and delight in God’s presence is the river of pleasures. That is what brings God’s goodness to bear upon the lives of men. It genders satisfaction.

“They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light”. Ps 36:8-9

“There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day”. Ps 46:4-5

JESUS, OUR PASSOVER LAMB

Exodus 12:1-51
  1. They were to eat the unleavened bread.
  2. They were to eat the flesh of the sacrificed lamb.
  3. The lamb’s blood was to be used to rub on the doorpost and lintel.

Significance
  •   For the deliverance and salvation of the first born.
  •   For the change of Pharaoh’s heart.
  •   It stands for freedom from bondage.
  •   It marks the beginning of the journey to the Promised Land: land flowing with milk and honey.
  •   It marks the beginning of their encounter with favour on every side. It was after the Passover that the  Egyptians gave them gold and silver lavishly.
  •   It signifies un-delayed and unhindered desire and expectation. After that night they left the Egyptian bondage for the Promised Land.
  •   The bread got blistered as they roasted it in the fire. So also was Christ by the stripes and the beating.
  •   As the blood of the lamb was poured out and also used to rub on the doorpost the same was Christ’ blood shed on the cross and on the altar of our hearts.
  •   As the blood was for the salvation of their first-born so was Christ’ blood for the salvation of our souls.
  •   The blood represents the exemption of the Israelites from the scourge of death and is a token (Exodus 12:13). Christ’ blood also exempt us from the sting of death and the victory of the grave. “Death is swallowed up in victory”. 1 Cor.15: 53-57
  •   The blood of the sacrificial lamb that was shed transformed slaves into masters: they spoiled the Egyptians of their goods.
  •   By the shed blood they came into a covenant of forward ever and backward never with God. They began an exodus from Egypt (bondage/slavery) to Canaan (freedom/fertility).
  •   By the shed blood they entered into a covenant of obedience with God. They followed God’s instruction.
  •  As the bread was broken so was Christ’ body for our redemption.
  •   They were told not to break the bones of the lamb (Exodus 12: 46). In the same vein, Christ bones were not broken in fulfillment of scriptures. John 19:31-37; Num. 9:9-13.
  •   The Psalmist prophesied it. He wrote of the anguish and the song of praise of the messiah before hand. Psalm 22:1-31. Who knows, that might have been the prayers of Christ in the garden of Gethsemane Matthew 26: 36-46.
  •   Isaiah prophesied of Christ suffering and death even the outcome of the same. Isaiah 53:1:12.
  •   Matthew clearly shows that Christ is truly our Passover Lamb. Matthew 26:17-68.
  •   After the resurrection, Jesus revealed Himself to the disciples through the breaking of bread. Luke 24:1-48 (30-31,41-45); John 21:9-14.
  •   He is coming back again to His own. Act 1:6-11.
  •   John wrote of the testimony of Jesus Christ.1 John 1:1- 4.
  •   Consider the kind of love God has shown towards us. We ought to reciprocate through genuine service of obedience and righteousness. 1 John 3:1-3.
  •   God hate those who despise, forsake and kick against the Passover. Numbers 9:9-13

THE GAME OF PROFIT AND LOSS

John 6:39; 11 John 8
No man ever planned from the beginning to be a failure in life. Everyone wants to succeed in all endeavours but the game of profit and loss can or is what determine which position you find yourself. It is what determines your placement in life.
  • It is what makes the difference between the man who eats at the table and he who picks the crumbs that fell from the table.
  • It is what makes the difference between the master and the servant, the landlord (house owner) and the gate-man, the car owner and the driver, the employer and the employee.
  • It is what makes the difference between the one who lives sumptuously and the one who lives on garbage.
  • It makes the difference between the one who throws a banquet and the one who runs around banqueting houses if he can find what to bite.
  • It is what makes the difference between the lender and the borrower, i.e. the creditor and the debtor.
  • It is what makes the difference between a thriving businessman and a struggling one.
  • It is what makes the difference between the gainer and the loser.
  • It is what makes the difference between the man who lives in a mansion and the one who lives in slums.
  • It is what makes the difference between the rich and the poor, the wealthy and the wretched, the affluent and the needy.
  • It is what makes the difference between the benefactor and thebeneficiary.
  • It is what makes the difference between assets and liabilities.
THE ATTRIBUTES OF LOSS

  •   It is an enemy of height.
  •   It is an enemy of the peak and pinnacle.
  •   It is an enemy of greatness.
  •   It is an enemy of addition, increase and multiplication.
  •   It is an enemy of gain, profit and progress.
  •   It is an enemy of labour.
  •   It is an enemy of savings and investment.
  •   It is an enemy of wealth and riches.
  •   It is an enemy of hope and prospects
  •   It is an enemy of optimism and expectation.
  •   It is an enemy of affluence and abundant supply.
  •   It is an enemy of assurance and certainty.
  •   It is an enemy of enjoyment but the advocate of endurance.
  •   It reduces and defeats. It is an agent of reduction and ruin.
  •   It is a weapon of frustration, disappointment and despair.
  •   It is an instrument of death. It is deadly.
  •   It is one of the major causes of hypertension or high blood pressure.
  •   It is what makes many losers.
The game of profit can make a man rise from the slums to the place of power while the game of loss can make a man decline from mansions and the seat of power to the slums.

Many great men were at one time amazed at the favourable result of their little effort and input. It is not how smart you are!

Something About The Beginning

Gen 1: 1-31.

There is something about the beginning. Without the beginning there is no continuity, fulfillment or consummation.

Whatever or whoever makes up your beginning will determine what will eventually be created out of your life. "In the beginning God..."

Without God in your beginning nothing good can be created out of your destiny. When God becomes your beginning your heavens and earth is created.

The presence of God in the beginning brought to a close the era of formlessness, voidances, emptiness and darkness.

The shapeless earth encountered the potency and supremacy of the omnipotent creator by the move of the Spirit and for the first time through the "rhema" (spoken word) of God darkness gave way to light: the earth moved from obscurity to limelight and light conquered darkness from that day through eternity.

By the prophetic voice, I decree, "let there be light in every sphere and facet of your life. Your heavens and earth are created.

The spirit of formlessness, voidance, emptiness and darkness is destroyed over your life and your light will shine forth out of obscure darkness in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

All that make life good and pleasant is created for you today so you can enjoy the comfort of the kingdom. God is in the business of creation and re-creation in your life.

You will see what is very good in the morning and evening of life. Your evening will give birth to good morning".

If you can win the battle of your beginning your future battles will have a reference point that will rekindle the fire of your pursuit in life.

THE JOURNEY OF LIFE

Life itself is a process. It is not an end in itself. It is a journey. It is not just a journey but also a journey of experiences. It is not a destination. It is an attitude. Many pass through this life without learning. When you think you already know that is when you are just beginning to learn.

The day you stop learning you start dying. If all men will go through life with their eyes, ears, minds, and hearts opened, we will leave this world better than the way we met it. Such eyes, ears, minds, and hearts should be opened to observe, see, hear, think and ponder so as to learn. Life is full of lessons and it is imperative to always learn to draw inferences from the lessons of life so as to better ones lot in life in his short stay on earth.

Failure is not final: it is learning in itself. Embedded in the womb of failure are lessons, keys and clues for success, progress, enhancement and advancement. How hidden and unknown they may seem? But the diligent seeker, the prudent and keen observer who is willing to learn will at the end not only learn a lesson but will also find himself unraveling the mystery of life’s failure and success. He will not only learn to succeed but will also be able to transform failure to a success story and become an instructor to others. The story we tell today is the history and experiences of someone yesterday.

The journey of life is measured not by time but by steps. Life’s success is not a dividend of a long life span. It is a result of excellent initiatives and worthy steps taken carefully with constructive actions and innovations employed faithfully and maximally.

Although spontaneity is a consideration in the steps of life toward success but to have a colossal success and be a colossus in the height of life, calculative steps taken accurately must be embraced.

Event is the mother of challenges that give birth to unequalled success. Indecision is the bedrock of failure, stagnancy and non-achievement.

Many refused to learn in the journey of life and had their soul pierced as with a hurtful sword. As you go on in the journey of life open your eyes for the keen observer will not repeat the mistake of yesterday.

Sometime we do not really know what we have until we do not have it anymore.

Thought for the day.

The one who have the true essence of the life of the creator cannot easily give in to failure and disappointment. Do you have this 'essence'? Think about it! You can make it.
